Sandoz Head Jeff George Named Top "40 Under 40"

Sandoz is pleased to announce that Jeff George, global Head of Sandoz, has been named part of Fortune Magazine’s 2011 Top “40 Under 40”.

George ranked ninth on the annual “40 under 40” list, which features Fortune’s selection of the top 40 young business leaders from a variety of industries.

In January 2007, George joined Novartis in the Vaccines and Diagnostics Division as Head of Commercial Operations for Western and Eastern Europe, and then advanced to Head of Emerging Markets for the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and CIS. In 2008, he was appointed to head Sandoz, where he helped lead the company to double-digit revenue growth and make significant strides with respect to its differentiated products strategy, particularly in the field of biosimilars.
